Head of Engineering
Musa Osikhuare leads Awimax Energy Limited's engineering function as Head of Engineering, providing technical direction and quality oversight across all engineering disciplines on Awimax's EPCIC projects. He brings deep practical engineering expertise in petroleum storage infrastructure, LPG facilities and process plant construction to his role.
Musa oversees the work of Awimax's engineering team — covering civil and structural, mechanical and piping, fire protection, electrical and instrumentation disciplines — ensuring that design outputs are technically rigorous, code-compliant and optimised for constructability and long-term operational performance.
Technical Expertise
Musa's engineering background spans the key technical disciplines that underpin Awimax's EPCIC services. He has extensive experience in the detailed engineering and construction supervision of petroleum storage tanks and tank farms, LPG storage and distribution facilities, process piping systems, and associated civil and structural works.
His rigorous technical approach ensures that all engineering designs produced by Awimax meet the requirements of the relevant international codes and standards — including API, ASME, NFPA and IEC codes — as well as Nigerian DPR regulatory requirements. He leads engineering review processes to maintain design quality and identify potential constructability or operability issues before they reach site.

Beyond project delivery, Musa is committed to building the engineering capability of Awimax's team. He actively mentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance that helps them develop their knowledge and grow their project engineering competence. His support for Awimax's graduate internship programme contributes to building the next generation of Nigerian petroleum engineers.
